Fanshawe College

Fanshawe College and Digital Echidna first partnered in 2015 to launch its new Drupal 7 digital experience, built on almost a year of extensive user research to determine optimal navigation and search components. Significant work over the following five years helped establish benchmarks against competitors while continuing to finetune the information architecture of the site.

In 2020, Fanshawe partnered with Digital Echidna once again to complete an upgrade to Drupal 8 CMS hosted on Acquia Cloud Platform. The redevelopment of the website using Drupal 8 provided the opportunity to refresh and modernize the existing site, improve usability, and reevaluate the efforts of the original user experience research and testing and SEO tactics. By looking back and learning from previous lessons, the new website was further optimized to meet the needs of target audiences with upgraded functionality.

The website is fully responsive, accessible, and flexible to allow for future growth. (less)
